Renowned producer, director, documentarian

Jeff Dupre is an award winning documentary producer and director from Louisville, KY. His films and TV series include Carrier, Marina Abramovic: The Artist Is Present, Half The Sky, Kehinde Wiley: An Economy Of Grace, and Soundbreaking: Stories From The Cutting Edge Of Recorded Music. His documentary The Artist Is Present, which focused on the incredible career of the legendary performance artist Marina Abramovic, earned several awards and nominations including a Panorama Audience Award at the 2012 Berlin International Film Festival, a Peabody, and an Emmy for outstanding arts and culture programming.

In 2006, Dupre partnered with documentarian Maro Chermayeff to found Show Of Force, a company that produces film, digital, and social content. Many of Dupre’s projects have been screened in theatres and at film festivals across the globe as well as airing on television networks such as PBS, HBO, BBC, CNN and ARTE.

Most recently, the Show Of Force duo had two nominated works at the 2018 International Documentary Association: Sky And Ground, a feature, and Los Comandos in the short documentary category.
