When Kelsi first started swimming, she didn’t like it. But thanks to her family and newfound friends, she stuck with it and fell in love with the sport. Her hard work paid off, and in 2012, Kelsi was recruited and received a scholarship to the University of Louisville where she would go on to win several championships, break two world records, and prepare for the Olympics – all while earning her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. Kelsi competed at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where she won an Olympic Gold medal.

Kelsi currently lives in Louisville, Kentucky, and plans to stay put. In addition to helping other promising young athletes through her swim camps, Kelsi is continuing her training and competitive swimming career with the help of her coach, Arthur Albiero.

Kelsi spends her free time with her husband, Thomas Dahlia, and their adorable puppy, Kiwi. She enjoys knitting, scuba diving, and most of all, baking — known for making treats for her friends, coaches, and community group.
